CHEN FA KE(1887-1957), the style name Fu Sheng
He was 17 th generation of Chen family tree and 9 th generation of Chen style TaiJi successor. Since his childhood Chen FaKe studied Taiji from his father, Chen NaiXi. From the mid 1920's to the mid 1950's, he taught TaiJi boxing in Beijing for a long period of time, making CHEN style TaiJi popular with the public. In the teaching practice, the Chen Taiji traditional style, Chen Style TaiJi First LU (83 types), Second LU (71 types) he taught are the original Chen style TaiJi spread nowadays. His honesty, respected martial morals, indifference to fame and wealth and faithfulness made him a name in martial arts field and he was worshipped as “super TaiJi master”. He taught lots of students, which spread all over the world.
His advanced students are: Shen JiaZhen, Gu LiuXin, Hong JunSheng, Tian XiuChen, Lei MuNi, Feng ZhiQiang, Deng Jie, Li JingWu, Xiao QingLin, his sons Chen ZhaoXu and Chen ZhaoKui, hia daughter Chen YuXia etc. 《 Chen Style TaiJi 》, published in 1963 by People Physical Press, was written by his students Shen JiaXin and Gu LiuXin. In this book, the Chen Style TaiJi First LU and Second LU, set in accordance with his boxing type, are Chinese precious martial arts heritage. He is a representative figure in the history of Chen style TaiJi development, making an outstanding contribution to the development and the dissemination of Chen style TaiJi
